The corpus was compiled in the framework of the research project DACRE, financed through a PCE grant awarded to the project coordinator, Dr. Madalina Chitez, by the Romanian Ministry of Research, Innovation and DigitizationUEFISCDI. The project has been conducted at the West University of Timisoara, at CODHUS (Centre for Corpus Related Digital Approaches to Humanities).

The EXPRES platform promotes the use of corpus linguistics methods to investigate on and generate support for discipline-specific expert academic writing in Romanian and English.
